All research protocols involving human subjects must be submitted online through the CEP/CONEP System via Plataforma Brasil.
Plataforma Brasil is a national and unified database for registering research involving human subjects within the CEP/CONEP system. It allows for tracking research at different stages—from submission to final approval by CEP and CONEP, when necessary—enabling oversight of the fieldwork phase, submission of progress reports, and final research reports upon completion.
The system also allows for the digital submission of documents and provides public access to data from all approved research projects.
Only research protocols submitted through Plataforma Brasil and accompanied by all required documentation will be reviewed (refer to Resolution No. 466/2012 and Operational Norm CNS/MS No. 001/2013).
