Plataforma Brasil (Register of Projects Involving Human Beings)
All research protocols involving human beings must be submitted to the CEP/CONEP System online in the Plataforma Brasil.
Plataforma Brasil is a unified national database of records for research involving human beings for the entire CEP/CONEP system. It allows research projects to be tracked at their various stages—from submission to final approval by the CEP and CONEP, when necessary—and even enables monitoring of the fieldwork phase, as well as the submission of interim and final reports (once the research is completed). The system also allows documents to be submitted digitally, thereby providing the public with access to public data on all approved research projects.
Only research protocols submitted to Plataforma Brasil that include all required documentation will be reviewed (Check Resolution No. 466/2012 and CNS/MS Operational Standard No. 001/2013).
